A New Direction: Just Add Champagne

It is officially fall. Well it has been for a few days now, and sometimes with fall I think new beginnings have to happen. The whole change of season is ressonating within me, and with that being said...

I constantly have the battle in my head about what type of blog I want to have.

I love reading. I love books, so it only seemed appropriate that I would start a book review blog. And I love doing it.  I love reviewing books and sharing opinions on bookish things. I have to admit though the one thing that I do not like is the constant feeling of pressure, that if I have free time and not reading/reviewing I am going to get detention. I have to remember that this is a hobby.  I also feel that I'm going through books so fast that I don't really take the time to digets them and enjoy them properly. I want to review books that I want to, not because I have to.

I find myself constantly wanting to write about other things than just books and I felt that people would be upset if I kept writing about non-bookish things on a book blog site. Enter dilemma.

So the solution to my little problem, is that because I have a ton of other interest and want to write about them as well I am going to switch things up a little.  And I figure, its my blog and I can do what I want. Plus looking through bloglovin' there are a lot of combo blogs out there!

The 'new' blog will still mainly feature book reviews and bookish things- as let's be honest I still read a ton and want to share my thoughts with others... Other features will include recipes, DIY's, fashion and fitness related posts.  Pretty much a lifestyle blog.

Eventually I will switch over to wordpress with the new blog title/URL, just need to sit down and actually do it.

I am super excited for this next blogging adventure!

I hope you all decide to continue to read the blog, because well let's face it it's just going to get better!!!
